Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the South Gate Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate or work you ask us for. If you browse the site, send us a message or book an estimate, you're agreeing to them, so please read them first.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (213) 376-0861 with any question about these terms before deciding.

What we do

We're a sunroom contractor in South Gate, CA. We design, build and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homes in South Gate and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page, and see the full list of services from our home page.

The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. They aren't an offer to do a particular job at a particular price. Your job is set by the written estimate and contract we agree on together.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates with no obligation. We come out to see your house because the size of the room, the condition of your slab, deck or patio, how the new roof ties into your house and the materials you pick all change the price.

An estimate is based on what we can see before work starts. If we find something hidden once the job is open, like damaged framing or a footing that won't carry the load, we'll stop, show you, and agree on any change in writing before we go on. Any figure you see on this site or hear before we've seen your house is general, and only a signed written estimate or contract sets your price.

Scheduling and cancellation

We schedule estimates and start dates with you directly, and we'll give you a start date and an expected timeline in writing. Weather, material delivery, permit review and inspections can move those dates, and we'll tell you as soon as we know about a delay.

If you need to move or cancel an estimate, call us or use our Contact page as early as you can. Cancelling a signed job is covered by your written contract and by any rights you have under California law, and the contract will say what happens to work already done or materials already ordered for you.

Payment

Your written contract sets how much is due, when, and how you can pay. We don't ask for payment on anything that isn't in writing.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled, and we'll tell you before we do. Any approved changes to the job are added to the contract in writing so the total is never a surprise.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee. If something we built isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.

Any written warranty on a specific job is the one in your contract, and the makers of windows, panels, roofing and other products carry their own warranties, which we'll pass along to you. Beyond those, the website and its content are provided as they are, and we don't promise that the site is always available, error free or complete.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses from using this website, such as lost time or decisions made from general information on it. Our responsibility for a job is what's set out in your written contract.

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under California law that can't be waived.

Using this website

Please use the site for its purpose, which is learning about our work and getting in touch. Don't copy our text or photos for your own business, try to break into the site, or send us anything harmful.

When you send us a message, give us accurate details so we can reach you and plan the visit. Links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we don't control what those sites say or do.

Settling a disagreement

If something goes wrong, talk to us first. Call (213) 376-0861 or reach us through our Contact page, and we'll work with you in good faith to fix it.

If we can't settle it between us, the dispute steps in your written contract apply. Where the contract doesn't cover it, either of us may take the matter to a court with authority over it in Los Angeles County, California.

Which law applies

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, because that's where we work and where your house is.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. A change to these terms doesn't change a contract you've already signed with us.
